These terms and conditions govern the basis on which we provide access to our POWER gym facilities and fitness services, both at physical locations and online. Please read these terms carefully before you start using our services.
By accessing, browsing, and/or using the Site and/or any facility operated by POWER, you accept and agree to be bound to these Terms. In addition, when using particular POWER services, you also shall be subject to any posted guidelines, FAQs, or rules applicable to such services, which may be posted and modified from time to time.
These terms form a legally binding contract between yourself and POWER gym and govern your use of the facilities/services. If you do anything in breach of these terms, we may terminate your account and refuse you the right to receive our services.
We may change these terms from time to time. All revision will be made public on our website. If you continue to use our services after any revisions take effect then it will be taken that you have agreed to the revised terms. These terms were last updated on 8th April 2021.

POWER Commit to 2024 Memberships
1.1 POWER MEMBERSHIPS
POWER membership is a non-contract re-occurring payment that allows the user to access the club which the purchase said membership for. The membership is to be used by the holder only and cannot be shared.
1.2 POWER MEMBERSHIP CYCLE
1.2.1 Your POWER membership starts on the date that you sign up and submit payment via a valid Payment Method (as defined below).
1.2.2 – The first 3 months of membership is the minimum contract, but the actual membership cycle and payment is on a monthly basis, not every 3 months.
1.2.3 You must provide us with a current, valid, accepted method of payment (as such may be updated from time to time, “Payment Method”) to use POWER. We will automatically bill the monthly membership fee to your Payment Method each POWER Membership cycle until your POWER Membership is cancelled or terminated.
1.3 POWER MEMBERSHIP BILLING
1.3.1 By starting your POWER membership, you authorise us to charge you a monthly fee at the then current rate. Increases in the current rate will be notified with 1 month’s notice, after your initial 3- monthly billing cycle.
1.3.2 Membership subscription prices may be increased by POWER at any time. POWER will give the Member no less than one full calendar months notice prior to any such increase.
POWER Membership Billing Cycle
1.3.3 The membership billing date is the 8th of each month; therefore, memberships will auto-renew on the 8th.
For example, if you signed up on January 21st, your next auto-renew date will be 5th February, and payment will be taken using your payment method on, or after that date. All POWER memberships auto-renews will continue to take place on the new auto-renew date (i.e. the 5th of each month). Payment will be taken on the effective date of your auto-renew, provided that, if we are unable for any reason to take payment on a Renewal Date, we will take payment as soon as practically possible thereafter.
1.3.4 You may edit your Payment Method information by logging into your POWER account and updating accordingly. If a payment is not successfully settled, due to expiration, insufficient funds, or otherwise, and you do not edit your Payment Method information, provided that you have not cancelled your account in accordance with these Terms (see, “Cancellation” below), you remain responsible for any uncollected amounts.
1.3.5 Memberships cannot be cancelled by members until the initial full three months have expired irrespective of usage or change in circumstances. Memberships do not ‘renew’ after a 3-month billing cycle, membership is billed on a monthly basis. However, members cannot cancel or freeze within their initial 3 months of membership.. Members may cancel their subscriptions and membership at any time after the first three months by providing one full calendar months’ notice in writing.
For example, if your next renewal date is 8th September, you need to cancel by 8th August in order to avoid being charged for the next POWER membership cycle. Note that if you do terminate your POWER membership, you will be subject to current membership rates upon your return.
1.3.6 Members cannot end their contracts through the website/app. They must contact their club, giving 30 days’ notice of cancellation, we then terminate their membership before the next billing date.
1.3.7 No Refunds. Unless expressly stated to the contrary herein, or as provided by applicable law, payments are non-refundable and there are no refunds or credits for partially used periods. This policy applies to all products sold on POWER’s website or by a member of the POWER team in a club i.e. class packages as well as POWER memberships. However, following your cancellation of your membership you will continue to have access to the club through to the end of your paid membership cycle.
1.4 POWER MEMBERSHIP GENERAL TERMS
1.4.1. POWER may reprimand, suspend or expel any member without assigning any reason for doing so if, in their opinion, the conduct of the member is or has been likely to be injurious to the character or interests of the POWER brand.
1.4.2. Where you are booked to attend a POWER Session, you must turn up in good time before the start to enable the instructor to commence at the advertised time. We reserve the right to refuse admittance to latecomers. Members/class attendees booked into a POWER class must arrive at least 10 minutes before class start time.
1.4.3. You acknowledge that not all our staff, are medically qualified, so if you have any doubts about your fitness or capability to exercise, you must obtain prior advice from a doctor.
1.4.4. We reserve the right to ask you to leave a POWER classes and/or refuse you access to our Studios if we reasonably consider that your conduct is damaging to our reputation, is in breach of these rules or it would otherwise be in the interest of other users of the Studios or participants in our POWER classes.
1.4.5. You acknowledge that POWER class timetables and instructors are subject to change. We will endeavour to give you prior notice wherever possible.
1.4.6. You bring all personal belongings to our clubs at your own risk. We do not accept responsibility for any loss, theft or damage to these items before, during or after your attendance at any point in time.
1.4.7. Certain areas of our website may only be accessed by registering with us or by logging in with a username and password. This includes the POWER class booking page.
1.4.8. You must not allow any other person to use your username, password or other login details and must treat such information as confidential and must not disclose it to any third party. If you believe or suspect that someone else knows your login details, you must contact us as soon as possible.
1.4.9. We reserve the right to disable your user identification or password used to access this website at any time if in our reasonable opinion you have failed to comply with these terms and conditions.
1.4.10. We shall not be liable for any losses you suffer as a result of unauthorised access to your account until such time as you have informed us of unauthorised use or possible unauthorised use of your login details or of a breach of security.
1.4.11. Every Member shall be at least 18years of age.
1.4.12. Members are allowed to freeze their membership for a total of 1 month within the calendar year at the cost of €15. This freeze will run from billing date to billing date (e.g. 8th January – 7th February). Notice of membership cancellation cannot be given during a freeze in membership.
1.5 PRESS UP 15% OFF DISCOUNT
1.5.1 15% off all food and beverage across Press Up Hospitality Group.
1.5.2 This discount only applies to food and beverage, all other products are exempt including hotel stays, cinema and event tickets, retail and gift card purchases.
1.5.3 This discount only applies to dine in and collection only, it does not apply to delivery.
1.5.4 You must have an active POWER membership on the date of purchase to avail of this discount. This must be shown to venue staff via the POWER app, screenshots or photos will not be accepted.
1.5.5 This discount only applies to the active POWER member’s individual order, it does not apply to any items other than the aforementioned. It cannot be used or applied to any collective orders or bills.
1.5.6 The right to use this discount is personal to the POWER member and may not be transferred at any point in time.
1.5.7 Press Up Hospitality Group reserves the right to interrupt, modify or cancel this discount at any time if the circumstances make appropriate action by Press Up Hospitality Group necessary. Press Up Hospitality Group reserves the right to add additional specific terms and conditions for specific parts of this discount.
1.5.8 This discount cannot be redeemed in conjunction with any other offer at the time of purchase.
POWER CLASS PACKAGES:
2.1 POWER CLASS PACKAGE GENERAL TERMS
2.1.1 POWER Package holders receive the number of classes commensurate with the package purchased. Such classes may be redeemed at any studio operated by POWER until such time that the POWER Package is exhausted whether through consumption or expiry. Class credits/packages cannot be used in all locations; they can only be used in the specific club that you purchased them for. E.g. – Mayson class credits cannot be used to book a class in Galway.
2.1.2 POWER Package holders may transfer or gift classes to third parties, including to other POWER Membership holders or POWER Package holders. POWER makes no guarantee on the availability of classes as access to classes is on a space-available basis.
2.1.3 POWER Class Packages strictly do not permit you to use the gym floor or thermal suite at any club, at any point in time.
2.1.4 Every class package user shall be at least 18years of age.
2.2 POWER CLASS PAYMENTS
2.2.1 POWER Class Packages only give access to the class for which you signed up (at the specified time and location). You are responsible for all other fees.
2.2.2 POWER class prices may be increased by POWER at any time. The most up to date prices will always be displayed on the POWER website.
2.2.3 No Refunds. Unless expressly stated to the contrary herein, or as provided by applicable law, payments are non-refundable and there are no refunds or credits for partially used periods. This policy applies to all products sold on POWER’s website or by a member of the POWER team in a club i.e. class packages as well as POWER memberships. However, following cancellation of your membership you will continue to have access to the club through to the end of your paid membership cycle.
2.3 POWER CLASS EXPIRY
Your POWER Package expiration period starts on the date that you make your purchase. POWER Class credits/packages are sold as one, two intro, five, ten and twenty. If unused they will expire in listed expiry time frame at time of purchase. Expiry dates are as stated on the buy page.
3.POWER CLASS RULES
3.1. Classes can be booked or cancelled via the POWER app, website or by contacting the relevant POWER front of house team.
3.2. Classes will be available to book 7 days prior to the class start time.
3.3 You can access the POWER class timetable and instructor information on our website or app. Once you have registered your details (or, where you are already registered, after you have logged in using your username and password); you can check availability and book POWER classes up to 7 days in advance.
3.4 We make every effort to ensure that there are a suitable number of POWER classes available at different times of the day. However, POWER Sessions are subject to availability and we do not guarantee that spaces will always be available.
2.5. You can cancel a booking up to 12 hours before the start of your POWER class time.
2.6. If you cancel with less than 12 hours’ prior notice or if you fail to show up for a class that you have booked, you will be charged a fee.
A €5 “late cancel” fee is in place for class spots booked and cancelled less than 12 hours before the class start time.
A €10 ”no show” fee is in place for class spots booked and not attended.
In the event of a late cancel or no-show, you will lose your class credit and be charged the appropriate fee.
3.7. If the POWER Session you wish to attend is fully booked, you may choose an alternative with remaining spaces. Alternatively, you may join a waitlist for the fully booked class.
3.8. If a space becomes available, users on the waitlist will be allocated a space on a first come first served basis, up to 12 hours before the class. You will be notified by e-mail if you are automatically added to a class.
3.9. If you are allocated a place on a class from the waitlist, the normal cancellation rules will apply.
3.10. In the event of late cancellations within 12 hours of a POWER class, we will email all people on the waitlist who did not receive a place. To secure your place, you must click on the link in the email.
3.11. If you are on a waitlist and you no longer wish to secure a place in the relevant POWER class, please make sure you cancel your place on the waitlist, or contact the relevant front of house team.
3.12. CANCELLATIONS: As stated in the agreements, you must cancel a class a minimum of 12 hours in advance of the class start time or you will be charged the €5 cancellation fee. You may cancel a class by using the POWER app, the online system or by calling us directly during the operating hours of the relevant facility.
3.13. You must be physically present 5 minutes prior to the start time of your class. Once the class has started members will be refused entry into the studio and the booking will be treated as a no show.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
In consideration for individuals using the classes and facilities of POWER, the individual agrees that:
4.1 None of the Gym, the Company or their directors, employees or agents shall be liable for any l loss, damage or theft of personal property belonging to the Member, guest of the Member, or client occurring upon the Gym’s premises.
4.2. None of the Gym, the Company or their directors, employees or agents shall be responsible for any death or injury, occurring upon the POWER Gym’s premises or as a result of the use of facilities, food, beverages, supplements and/or equipment provided by the Gym, except to the extent that such death or personal injury arises from any negligent act or negligent omission of the Gym, the Company or any agent or employee of the POWER Gym or the Company.
6.2 Use of picture(s)/film/likeness: I agree to allow POWER, its agents, officers, principals, employees and volunteers to use picture(s) film and/or likeness of me for advertising purposes. In the event I choose not to allow the use of the same for said purpose, I agree that I must inform POWER of this in writing.
6.3 To allow us issue new members a digital POWER card, which facilitates in club purchases, we are required to share their email address with a third party software company Upco.
Commit to 2024 Memberships
7.1 POWER Commit to 2024 membership is a non-contract once off payment that allows the user to access the club which the purchase said membership for. The membership is to be used by the holder only and cannot be shared. Existing POWER members cannot avail of the Commit to 2024 membership.
7.2 Your POWER membership starts on the date that you sign up and submit payment via a valid Payment Method
7.3 A membership cycle is four (4) months in length, and will, subject to your membership being cancelled (by you), or terminated (by us), in accordance with these Terms, automatically renew at the end of this cycle. Individuals who have purchased a Commit to 2024 Membership’s membership will automatically renew on 8th April.
7.4 You must provide us with a current, valid, accepted method of payment (as such may be updated from time to time, “Payment Method”) to use POWER.
7.5 Members who signed up for the Commit to 2024 Membership will automatically revert to the re-occurring membership from the 8th April 2024 and We will automatically bill the monthly membership fee to your Payment Method each POWER Membership Cycle until your POWER Membership is cancelled or terminated.
7.6 Memberships cannot be cancelled by members until the initial full four months have expired irrespective of usage or change in circumstances. Memberships will automatically renew after the initial four months and the appropriate subscription payment collected via the agreed payment method at each renewal date. Members may cancel their subscriptions and membership at any time after the first four months by providing one full calendar months’ notice in writing.
7.7 No Refunds. Unless expressly stated to the contrary herein, or as provided by applicable law, payments are non-refundable and there are no refunds or credits for partially used periods. This policy applies to all products sold on POWER’s website or by a member of the POWER team in a club i.e. class packages as well as POWER memberships. However, following your cancellation of your membership you will continue to have access to the club through to the end of your paid membership cycle.
7.8 Commit to 2024 Memberships cannot be frozen.
7.9 Commit to 2024 Memberships cannot be purchased in conjunction with any other offers or discounts.
