Movement and Training has always been about empowerment for me. Through training, we can gain perspective and recentre in the strength we have here and now to get through whatever challenges present themselves. Growing up movement was an anchor for me and was a source of strength and empowerment in what was a restrictive, religious environment. When I left that environment, I found martial arts – karate, jiu jitsu, and kickboxing. I loved the discipline and daily refining of studying martial arts. Since 2010 I have taught yoga, kickboxing, group fitness and personal training and have had experience working with a wide range of ages and abilities. I am passionate about being a support for others to discover the strength they are right here, right now. It’s an awesome thing to be able to witness that moment when an individual breaks through a previous limiting belief or physical “wall” to discover how capable and strong they truly are!
My Favourite Excercise
Working on my handstand practice- it forces you to centre in yourself…to be attuned to your inner sense of balance, mindset, all the inner workings.
My Music Style In Class
COLDPLAY haha jk but seriously…other than coldplay, all sorts- house, Odesza, pop remixes, some 80s-early 2000s mixed in. I am a musician so music is a BIG love of mine!
