GENERAL MANAGER

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

This is a unique opportunity to join the team at Power, Ireland’s leading premium fitness operator. We are seeking a torchbearer for the Power experience, somebody who embodies our brand and our ethos. You will be directly responsible for the management of people, community and studio operations.

We are looking for somebody with an ambitious & entrepreneurial mindset. You must be people centric but also have a keen eye for detail when it comes to operations.

A key area of focus will be on ensuring any member or guest who walks through the door enjoys the best experience possible. You will also be in charge of developing your team of mavens who are empowered, passionate and invested in the Power brand, making it come to life in the studios on a daily basis.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Recruiting, training and supervising great staff for the Front of House (FoH) function.
  • Scheduling all FoH staff for shifts, off-site promotions and other events as required.
  • Line management and personal development of the studio assistant manager.
  • Building a strong team culture, so each member of the team embodies our ethos.
  • Ensuring all brand principles are executed on in the studio and that Power is the best part of all members and guest’s day.
  • Dealing with enquiries, complaints and emergencies.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.
  • Management of third party vendors.

Our Trainers are at the heart of our business and embody our ethos. We are looking for individuals who bring energy to the room – inspiring and empowering people daily when they come to a class.

This position will be involved in growing the Power brand and launching Power across Ireland. It will offer you an unrivalled opportunity for career progression as the business grows – expanding our current portfolio opening three more sites in the next 6 months.

FRONT OF HOUSE

 

JOB DESCRIPTION AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

We are seeking passionate, service-oriented, positive and hard-working individuals with a love for fitness and an excitement for our brand. We are a high-growth business looking for problem-solvers with exceptional interpersonal skills and attention to detail to join our team at Power. The prerequisites for this role is that they have 1+ years proven experience in retail or hospitality and be excellent in a customer facing environment.

  • Provide high level customer service and hospitality to all members and guests
  • Assist the studio management in daily studio tasks and projects
  • Maintain a positive can-do attitude and take initiative
  • Ensure an excellent end-to-end Power experience for all members and guests
  • Work as a cohesive team with all Power staff members
  • Maintain the distinct Power aesthetic, appearance, atmosphere and culture

 

KEY SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

  • Experience of working in hospitality
  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to prioritise and multi-task within a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to initiate tasks and perform duties without direction
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule (weekends, holidays, early mornings, late evenings, etc)
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and to enhance a one team culture.
  • Ability to build relationships.
  • Knows how to have fun – live life fully.
